主讲简介:Seamus Higgins,英国诺丁汉大学副教授。研究专长:食品加工。Dr. Seamus Higgins leads the development and marketing of a new MSc programme in food process engineering in the department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering, University of Nottingham. He has extensive project management, process management and new product development expertise acquired through a global career spanning more than 30 years in the food manufacturing industry. He has also worked and consulted for several leading global food companies, as well as entrepreneurs and new company start-ups. 2017年, Dr. Seamus Higgins加入诺丁汉大学,旨在协助新的食品处理工程硕士课程的开发并支持现有的硕士课程。在过去30多年间,Seamus Higgins涉足全球各地的食物和饮料生产行业,拥有项目管理、处理工程和新产品开发领域丰富的专业知识。他曾在数家全球领先的食品公司任职,并为众多企业家和新兴企业并担任顾问。

主讲内容:Seamus Higgins’ global career has spanned more than 35 years in the food and Beverage manufacturing industry including extensive project management, process engineering and new product development experience. He will also be discussing: • Why there is a worldwide need for food process engineers to enter this $5 trillion industry. • How this need has led to the launch of the University of Nottingham’s MSc in Food Process Engineering. • How the University of Nottingham are leading the way in Food research and teaching.
